It’s time for a mini-overhaul!

You may not know but this blog/website was designed for the Sports Marketing and Media Bachelor of Science (SMMBS) program at Full Sail University and many of my class assignments have appeared on. Actually that is pretty much the only thing that has appeared on it.  But now is the time!  Over the next couple of weeks we will be doing a mini-overhaul to make sure the site is more branded-centric towards me, LeRoy Rooks!  So sit back and start to watch the post as I have now made it a priority to begin blogging on the back side of PR in the Sports World.

Welcome to PuRe sPoRts PR!

Welcome to PuRe sPoRts PR (PSPR) Blog. This blog is the beginning to a journey in Public Relations while focusing on Sports Marketing and New Media. Most of the blog entries will be centered on Public Relations and Sports. PSPR will also discuss topics relevant of the day and offer opinionated commentary related public relations, marketing and advertising in relation to sports. On the lighter side PSPR will also from time to time showcase new cutting edge media, hopefully as it happens. PSPR will also welcome top industry professionals for commentary and for their input as they see fit.

If you are a behind the scenes sports management professional then this blog is for you. There is so much that goes on behind the scenes in sports today that we hope to give a very credible approach to the sports marketing angle through engaging discussions, creative commentary and interactive approaches to the subject. In due time I hope to add guest bloggers and we will work our way into becoming a credible resource, but Rome was not built in a day.
