About Me.

LeRoy was born and raised in Central Florida and has lived here all his life. LeRoy has been very involved in the leadership of major community events and loves the profession of Public Relations. With many elements under the umbrella of Public Relations some of the key elements LeRoy stays focused in are branding, social media innovation, event management and community relations.

LeRoy currently has been the driving force behind the Inverness Farmers Market in Inverness, FL. The market that showcases locally grown, locally baked and locally crafted started just over two years ago as a monthly event with just under 12 vendors has now evolved into a weekly event with more than 25 carefully selected vendors.

LeRoy has worked with big names such as Don “The Snake” Prudhomme and the Miller Lite team at the NHRA Gatornationals and Coach Steve Spurrier at the Annual “Golf Scramble for Kids” while he was the Head Football Coach at the University of Florida. LeRoy was also responsible for all local Advertising, Marketing and Representation of several major breweries (Miller, Coors, Gambrinus (Corona), Heineken, Sam Adams, Guinness, Mikes Hard Lemonade and a few others in Gainesville, FL for 5 seasons of Gator Football. His attention to building strong relationships never go unnoticed and results are always present.

Why this blog?
This blog was originally designed and dedicated to posting coursework while finishing the Sports Marketing and Media, B.A. at Full Sail University in Winter Park, FL.  After the first year of coursework, LeRoy decided to take it a step further and bring a different point of view to the Public Relations Side of Sports.
